The Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI)’s principal goals are to improve HIV-related health outcomes for racial and ethnic minority communities disproportionately affected by HIV-AIDS and reduce HIV-related health disparities.

MHAF accomplishments include expanding the reach of HIV and Sexually transmitted infections (STI) diagnosis and prevention services, including rapid testing for STI by incorporating Retail Health Clinics and pharmacies into existing networks of HIV/STI care services and leveraging partnerships to improve care for underserved minorities.
