Program objective

The purpose of this program is to prepare the nation’s public health systems to minimize the consequences associated with all-hazards events. The Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response/Division of State and Local Readiness (Office of Readiness & Response/DSLR) works to promote the integration of public health emergency preparedness into overarching emergency preparedness for all-hazards responses. Office of Readiness & Response/DSLR works through and with national partners to develop and enhance public health emergency preparedness.
