Program objective

As written in the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (P.L. 115-123), this program will fund disaster response and recovery, and other expenses directly related to Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, or Hurricane Maria, which are in the FEMA-declared major disaster states (Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia Texas, Florida, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Georgia, and South Carolina), relevant to supporting the recovery of losses at non-Federal biomedical or behavioral research facilities.
