Program objective

To provide grants to States and U.S. Territories to support nutrition services including nutritious meals, nutrition education and other appropriate nutrition services for older adults in order to maintain health, independence and quality of life. Meals and nutrition services are to be served in a congregate setting or delivered to the home, if the older adult is homebound.
