Program objective

To make funds available to private operators of over-the-road buses to finance the incremental capital and training costs of complying with requirements of the Department of Transportation's Over-the-Road Bus (OTRB) Accessibility regulation , "Transportation for Individuals with Disabilities" (49 CFR Part 37, Subpart H). The program was repealed under the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21).
