Program objective

Address national employment and training issues through demonstrations, pilot projects, and applied research that have interstate validity and will aid policymakers and stakeholders in addressing these issues and for continuous improvement of the public workforce system.

  3. 2024

    Many states are building research, products, and capacity around apprenticeship, post-secondary education outcomes, and public-facing customer tools. Other states are building research agendas and building analytical capacity within or across agencies, and at the state and/or local levels. Several states are pursuing ways to include/assess non-degree credentials and build customer-facing tools around these. A few states are experimenting with AI technologies to develop documentation, assure data quality, or support coding and product development.
