The 9/11 Memorial Act Grant Program provides competitive grants for the continued operation, security, and maintenance of the on-site memorials of the events and victims of the September 11, 2001.

One organization received funding to manage the 9/11 Twin Tower memorial site in New York City
Non-profit organizations received funding to further the mission of the 9/11 Memorial in New York City.
NPS has awarded funding from the 9/11 Memorial Act grant program to the National September 11 Memorial & Memorial Plaza in New York City annually since 2020. This funding will provide critical support for the continued operation, maintenance, and security of the memorial and museum. Awards summary: $2 million in 2020; $2.5 million in 2021, $2.75 million in 2022.
The grant awarded under this program fulfilled the mission through commemoration, exhibitions, and education at on-site memorials dedicated to the events and victims of September 11, 2001.
