Program objective

Emergency supplemental Historic Preservation Fund funding is intended to assist the historic resources within a major disaster declaration area that are listed in or determined eligible for the National Register. Funding should substantially mitigate threat to the site and include steps to mitigate future damage.

Ongoing activities included approximately 350 projects for survey and inventory of historic resources, compliance activities, disaster planning, and subawards for physical repairs to historic properties.
