This listing funded disaster recovery activities for historic and cultural resources in areas that have received major disaster declarations. Work continued in fiscal year 2024 for funds previously awarded to State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs) and Tribal Historic Preservation Offices (THPOs) impacted by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria, Florence, Michael, and Typhoon Yutu. Ongoing activities included approximately 350 projects for survey and inventory of historic resources, compliance activities, disaster planning, and subawards for physical repairs to historic properties.
