Program objective

The Colorado River Basin Project Act of 1968, authorized the Secretary of the Interior to carry out various actions relating to the Colorado River, including construction of the Central Arizona Project. Some of the actions identified are contractable by entities pursuant to the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, as amended.
