FA8650-24-2-5511 – GAM - High-purity niobium and niobium alloys are required for military engine turbine superalloys and numerous other military “high heat resistant” applications such as next-gen hypersonic and nuclear systems. This program will re-establish a domestic source for this. FA8650-24-2-5519 – Nano One - This agreement is among the first awards using the DPA Title III authority to award to a Canadian firm, as a “domestic source”. This project will provide a source of clean Cathode Active Materials (CAMs) in North America, therefore reducing reliance on China for CAMs commonly used in lithium-ion batteries
