Program objective

The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), a bureau of the U.S. Department of Commerce, will provide Federal assistance to support innovative projects seeking to promote and ensure the growth of minority enterprises. The MBDA Business Center Program provides technical assistance and business development services to minority business enterprises (MBEs).

    MBDA Business Centers and Specialty Centers (Export, Advanced Manufacturing, and Federal Procurement Center) has actively engaged in all special initiatives and collaborate with each other to successfully fulfill the mission of the agency.

    A major accomplishment is MBDA’s equities support our MED-Week which is our signature event where we help facilitate the development of a variety of panels for MBE’s.
