Program objective

To strengthen the communication and improve the impact of hurricane, flood, and wildfire forecast modeling through the use of state of the art and emerging research and technologies within the National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service (NESDIS), National Weather Service (NWS), Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) and National Ocean Service (NOS) including unmanned ocean observing platforms and data assimilation.

NOAA Grants and Cooperative Agreements Policy Manual.
