Program objective

ERP 2022 provides financial assistance to producers for losses to crops and trees due to wildfires, hurricanes, floods, derechos, tornadoes, excessive heat, winter storms, freeze (including a polar vortex), smoke exposure, excessive moisture, qualifying drought, and related conditions occurring in calendar year 2022.

    FSA issued $2.1 billion in payments to 212,316 eligible producers under ERP 2022. In FY 25 FSA anticipates issuing approximately $500,000 million in payments to eligible producers under ERP 2022.
