Program objective

1890 Facilities Grants Program provides funding for the acquisition and improvement of food, agricultural, natural resource, and human (FANH) science facilities and equipment, including libraries, so that the 1890 land-grant institutions, may participate fully in the research, extension, and education enterprises of the higher education system.

    Of the appropriated $19,730,000, approximately $18,933,675 is available to support the second year (continuations) of the five year plans of work (2018-2022) from the 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Universities (19).
