62 students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs), and Historically Black Community Colleges (HBCCs), studying agriculture, food, natural resources, science, engineering, health, and other related disciplines, were successfully recruited and placed into internship opportunities at five agencies within USDA.
14 student interns from migrant and seasonal farm-worker families were successfully recruited and placed into 10-week summer internships at 9 agencies within USDA.
